100 Bull Run Drive, Kings Mountain

Amenities at Bull Run RV Park

Two lists, kept apart on purpose. The first is what you plug into at your own pad. The second is what you walk to: the bath house, the laundry, the picnic shelters, the trails, the pond and the clubhouse. All of it sits on a family-owned 112-acre tract in Cleveland County, about half a mile off the main road.

At your pad

Pull in, level up, plug in.

Every site is the same full hookup on the same concrete, with a patio already attached. Guests describe the pads as level, with plenty of room and no neighbour right up against the next camper.

The clubhouse

The building at the heart of the park, with its green roof and chimney, a short walk from the pads.

Bath house and laundry

Bath facilities for men and women, plus a washer and dryer, so a month on the road does not mean a laundromat run.

Three miles of trails

Hiking and mountain bike trails run through the hardwoods behind the sites. For bigger outings, the attractions page covers Crowders Mountain State Park and more.

Picnic shelters and fire rings

Picnic shelters for the long table, and campfires in the designated fire pits and rings. Garbage collection keeps it tidy.

The spring-fed pond seen from under the covered dock

About the pond: it is a one-acre spring-fed pond with a covered dock, and fishing opens later. The park is not offering it for use yet, so plan your stay around the trails and the lawn for now.

The setting

Lawn, trees and a lot of room between rigs

The park sits on 112 acres, and the pads are spaced so you are not shoved up against the next camper.

“Very friendly owners that care about trying to make a good experience and treat guests well. They continue to try to improve and expand the campground as well so more people can enjoy the campground.”
