100 Bull Run Drive, Kings Mountain

Park rules at Bull Run

There are not many, and none of them are surprising. They keep the park quiet, the pads level and the neighbors easy to live next to, for a weekend or for months. Read them once before you book on the sites and rates page, and call the office if one of them is a problem for your plans.

Quiet and driving

Most guests say the quiet is the reason they came. These are the rules behind it.

  • Quiet time

11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, every night.

  • Speed limit

5 MPH everywhere inside the park.

  • No off-road toys

ATVs, dirt bikes, golf carts and go-carts are not allowed.

Your site

The pad is yours for the length of your stay, with a few limits so every site keeps its room.

  • People

Up to 5 persons per site.

  • Vehicles

Up to 2 vehicles besides the RV.

  • No add-ons

No sheds, structures, pet pens or clotheslines on a site.

  • No subletting

A site cannot be sublet to anyone else.

  • No vendors

No vendor activity on any site.

Fire and power

Every pad has 20, 30 and 50 amp service, so the power question is already answered.

  • Generators

No generators. Use the pedestal at your pad.

  • Campfires

Only in the designated fire pits and fire rings.

  • Wood and tools

No chainsaws, no axes and no splitting firewood.

  • Electric cooking

Electric cookers and smokers are allowed. An electrical surcharge may apply.

  • Fireworks and weapons

No fireworks, no weapons, no hunting and no target shooting.

Water and winter

Hookups run on county water, and winter is the one season that asks something of you.

  • Heated hoses

Heated water hoses are required in winter.

  • Freezing nights

Remove your hoses when temperatures drop below freezing.

  • No washing

No outdoor washing of vehicles or RVs.

Check-in, pets and conduct

How to arrive, who comes with you, and how we treat each other on the grounds.

  • Check in

Check in on arrival at the office.

  • Pets

Up to 2 cats or dogs per site, on a leash. Bring their shot records when you check in.

  • Children

All children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Smoking

No smoking in any park building or common area.

  • Alcohol

No public intoxication. Keep alcohol in a cup or koozie.

  • Utility trouble

If a utility problem comes up after hours, call park management.

The grounds

Plenty of lawn, and a few things still to come.

The trails, picnic shelters and fire rings are open to every guest. The one-acre spring-fed pond is not open for use yet, and the park will pass along an update when that changes.
