100 Bull Run Drive, Kings Mountain
RV sites and rates at Bull Run
Every site at the park is the same thing: a full-hookup concrete pad with water, sewer and power already in the price. What changes is how long you stay, and the office quotes that rate by phone so you always hear the current figure instead of last season’s.
Scott and Tonya Leatherman run the park themselves, about half a mile in from the main road. If you want to know how the place feels before you call, the story of the park and the amenities list are a good start.

Call for current rate
The long-term side of the park. Monthly reservations take a $100 deposit to hold the site.
County water, sewer and electricity at 50, 30 and 20 amp come with every one of them. Ask for the rate that fits your rig, shorter or longer than 36 feet.
On the pad
Room to park a big rig and still have a yard.

The pads are poured concrete, 45 feet by 15, with an 8 by 8 patio attached, and they sit level. One guest wrote that you are not shoved in right up on the next camper, and that is how the rows are laid out: space between rigs, trees behind them, and the clubhouse a short walk away.
Pull in, open the pedestal and take your pick of 20, 30 or 50 amp. Then look at the park rules, which are short, plain and the reason the place stays quiet.
How to reserve
Call the office, or send your dates.
Tell them when you arrive, how long you plan to stay and how long your rig is. They will come back with the current rate for that stay.

Before you book
Five things worth knowing before you call
- Rig length
- Rates differ for RVs shorter and longer than 36 feet, so have your length handy when you call. Pads are 45 feet long and 15 feet wide, with an 8 by 8 patio attached.
- RV age
- Rigs more than 10 years old need a call before you reserve. The park can decline a site based on the condition of the RV, so it is better to talk first than to arrive and turn around.
- Pets
- Cats and dogs are welcome, up to two per site, on a leash. Bring their shot records when you check in.
- Power
- The pedestal gives you 20, 30 and 50 amp service. Generators are not allowed, and there is no need for one. Read the park rules
- The pond
- The one-acre spring-fed pond is not open for use yet. The hiking and mountain bike trails are, and so are the picnic shelters. See the amenities
“I would highly recommend Bull Run RV Park to those seeking a long term stay.”
As a working travelling professional, I appreciated the quiet atmosphere of this RV park, the secludedness of the RV park from the main road and the forested area surrounding the park. I would highly recommend Bull Run RV Park to those seeking a long term stay.
